Liposonix Boston – Nonsurgical Liposuction Fat Removal

Liposonix NonSurgical Liposuction & Fat Removal Boston

Liposonix is a non-invasive, non-surgical option to eliminate undesirable fat cells underneath the skin. This unique technology of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) enables custom, contouring fat reduction in specific areas of the body to suit an individual's needs.

The procedure lasts just 30-60 minutes and results in a one-inch reduction or a one size reduction in just one treatment with minimal downtime. On the day of the procedure, you can expect to return to your normal activities. Over the following 8-12 weeks, the body naturally processes and permanently removes the destroyed fat cells. For individuals with stubborn fat around the waistline, the abdomen and love handles.

Liposonix can eliminate fat giving a trimmer look. For patients with stubborn fat around the waistline (the abdomen and love handles), Liposonix can eliminate fat, giving a slimmer, trimmer look.

How does Liposonix work?

A specially designed treatment head is placed on the chosen treatment area. The treatment head delivers high intensity focused ultrasound energy below the skin in order to target the desired area of subcutaneous (below the skin) fat. Fat beneath the surface is destroyed by the high-intensity ultrasound technology. The treated fat tissue gets removed through the body’s natural elimination process.

What results will I see and when will I see them?

Immediately after the treatment, you may experience some minor discomfort, redness, and swelling, which should subside within a few hours following the treatment. Over the next 8 to 12 weeks your body will naturally process the destroyed fat cells and remove them from your body. Results achieved can be permanent as long as a sensible diet and exercise are maintained to avoid future weight gain. Touch ups may be done for an extra bit of fat reduction but additional treatments are not recommended for at least 6 months after the initial treatment.

How many Liposonix treatments will I need?

Unlike many other fat reduction procedures that require multiple treatments, the Liposonix treatment can reduce your waistline by an average of 1 inch or 1 size after a single treatment.
